Youth Ministry seeks to empower youth to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world, encourage youth to full participation in the life, mission, and work of Church, and foster total personal and spiritual growth.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Youth are the young church of today. If youth are absent we are all poorer for it. Youth need some of the same things adults need from the church: opportunities for forming community and socializing, for prayer and worship, for ongoing faith formation, to serve, to work for peace and justice, for leadership and for encounters with God.

Liturgical Ministries: High School students who have been Confirmed are invited to join one of the liturgical ministries: lector, communion minister, music, choir, altar server, usher, greeter, hospitality.

Confirmation Retreat Team: We need high school students with a living, active faith who are willing to be small group and peer leaders and who are willing to train and prepare for this leadership role.

Christian Service: High School students are invited to participate with Young Adults in St. Vinny’s Cafe ministry to the poor on the first Saturday of the month.

Volunteer Opportunities: We need high school teens to be peer leaders, leaders to younger teens, leaders in general and recruiters. We also need adults to act as mentors, chaperons, friends, advocates, and to support youth and their activities in general. Be part of the parish Youth Ministry Team. You can make it happen.
