Ministers of Holy Communion serve our Lord and the parish community through their special love for Christ, present in the Eucharist, which is demonstrated both by being and giving the Body and Blood of Christ to their brothers and sisters.

Ministers of Holy Communion assist the clergy in distributing Holy Communion to the congregation of St. Catherine of Siena at Sunday and daily Masses. Some ministers take Communion to the homebound and sick, a few lead Communion services at care facilities or jails.

Confirmed, faithful Catholics may participate in this ministry.  Initial training and ongoing formation are provided.
